The Syrian Expatriates Organizations is outraged by the latest reported news regarding the killing of 200 civilians and the injuring of over 500 others, with no access to emergency health care, on the hands of Assad regime security forces, in Alkhaliya neighborhood in the central city of Homs, where more than 140 reported killed by the assault.

This escalation by Assad regime came on the eve of the UN Security Council vote on Syria, as reported by witnesses to the the British-based Syrian Observatory for Human rights.

The Syrian Expatriates organization board member, Mr louay sakka Said: Assad regime has, repeatedly, demonstrated its lack of recognition of basic human rights through its systematic and indiscriminate massacre of civilians, shelling of residential areas, unlawful detention of opponents and torturing of prisoners.

The Syrian Expatriate organization calls on the international community represented by the United Nations, Arab league and all human rights organizations to take full responsibility and to immediately intervene to stop the crimes against humanity in Syria.

The Syrian Expatriate organization calls on the United Nations Security Council to immediately adopt the Arab League initiative, without modification, in order to stop the ongoing slaughter of innocent civilians in Syria.
