To spread the word of Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign, TableFare is giving away a collection of SpiceCare containers filled with exotic spices from World Spice Merchants through a random drawing of people who take the No Kid Hungry pledge on TableFare’s website.

Hungry children cannot thrive. Yet millions of kids in America are at risk of going hungry. Share Our Strength is changing that.

One in five kids in America struggle with hunger, an epidemic that Share Our Strength is working to end by 2015 through their No Kid Hungry campaign. One of the biggest challenges in ending hunger is the invisible nature of the problem. Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Pledge is designed to bring the problem to light and inspire people to get involved and be a part of the solution. TableFare and World Spice Merchants have teamed up to offer a spectacular collection of exotic spices in SpiceCare containers to be given away in a random drawing of people that take the No Kid Hungry Pledge posted on TableFare’s website.

Carol and David Peterman, owners of TableFare, have been actively supporting the work of Share Our Strength since the launch of their first product, SpiceCare, in 2009 with both monetary donations and Carol’s volunteer work as a Chef Instructor in Share Our Strength’s Cooking Matters program.

“Having been personally involved as a volunteer with Share Our Strength, I’m continually impressed with their work and want to help promote their campaign to end child hunger by 2015 with a giveaway that will appeal to people that love food and cooking. Anyone with a love for food and cooking will likely connect on an additional level to the work of Share Our Strength.” – Carol Peterman

“As spice merchants we are part of the food community and feel particularly connected to the great work Share Our Strength is doing to end hunger in America.” says Holly Morris, Manager of World Spice Merchants in Seattle, WA. “We’ve selected a collection of truly exceptional and often difficult-to-source spices for the prize.”

The prize promotion for taking the No Kid Hungry Pledge will run from Nov. 11, 2011 through Dec. 11, 2011. One winner will be randomly selected to receive the collection of exotic spices in SpiceCare containers from among all the people that take the No Kid Hungry Pledge on Tablefare’s website.
