Together Take 5 Solutions and Spectra are a true force in multi-channel marketing with Spectra adding another touch point in customer acquisition and retention to Take 5's other channels. Anthony Aquino has led Spectra Products (the combination of both Spectra and Media Solutions Services) for the past five years of its thirty five year-long operating history. He previously worked at Citibank as a business manager and marketing executive in both their Retail Bank and Credit Card businesses. In addition to his banking experience, Mr. Aquino served nearly ten years with the U.S. Army, including several contingency and combat missions as a paratrooper and ranger.

While Kinderhook Industries will retain a majority interest in Spectra Products L.L.C. it has repositioned Spectra under the Take 5 Solutions umbrella and established a focused move into the direct marketing industry. Spectra will retain all of its employees in Johnson City, NY.
The Spectra announcement is the second Take 5 business venture consummated within the last 30 days. Last month, Thornbury announced the acquisition of Ireland-based DRG Group, comprising DRG and Adforce.i.e. "Our plan is to expand the direct marketing solutions we offer our Fortune 1000 and other clients and to establish Take 5 as a dominant force in the multi-channel marketing arena." The Take 5 CEO plans to announce at least one more acquisition, possibly in the 4th quarter of this year. "Obviously, at this time it's premature to discuss the company or other aspects of the deal but suffice it to say it will provide a great lift to the direct marketing resources of Take 5 Solutions."
