TalkPoint, the industry leader in global communications technology, specializing in browser-based audio and video webcasting, today announced the integration of its cloud-based webcasting technology with Blue Jeans Network, the leader in interoperable video collaboration services.

TalkPoint’s partnership with Blue Jeans Network provides clients a unique opportunity to combine the most robust cloud-based webcasting technology with the premier cloud-based video collaboration service, to create interactive webcasting events that offer an automated variety of video-connection options for presenters.

TalkPoint’s video webcasts have always featured versatile acquisition options for its presenters to enable them to reach thousands of viewers with a full range of interactive features. However, with the integration of Blue Jeans Network’s technology, these same webcasts now have the ability for multiple video presenters in disparate locations to connect to an automated and integrated video bridge directly in the TalkPoint live studio. Presenters can utilize whatever video acquisition they have available (webcam, room-based video conferencing systems, Skype, among others) and the Blue Jeans Network conferencing system automatically connects them via a single bridge to the TalkPoint system. During the event, the audience view can be switched from single to multi-presenter directly from the live studio, creating an engaging, professional-quality video experience.

The TalkPoint/Blue Jeans integration also permits Blue Jeans Network to broadcast their bridge meetings to a larger audience, thousands of viewers per event, while including the benefits of TalkPoint’s webcasting functionality including the automated archive.

“We’re very excited about the integration with Blue Jeans Network,” said Mike Vitale, CTO at TalkPoint. “By integrating, we are able to offer remote video presenters in multiple locations the ability to use their available hardware to seamlessly participate in the same webcast. The addition of this capability makes the combined product a game changer in the industry.”

"Today’s integration with TalkPoint is the next step in the progression of our mission to incorporate Blue Jeans video conferencing capabilities with leading business applications,” said James Matheson, vice president of marketing at Blue Jeans Network. "We are excited to integrate multi-party video into the already popular webcast experience provided by TalkPoint."
