Unlike traditional call-center and compliance-based call recording solutions, Talkument brings the power to securely store, organize, comment upon and share telephone-based business conversations to the individual businessperson. Talkument turns a business call into a secure yet sharable "document" that can be annotated with a user's notes or keywords that can all be used to dynamically search for or share voice documents.

After completion of a rigorous engineering and alpha testing cycle, OAISYS has undertaken an aggressive beta program to ensure the company's revolutionary Voice Documentation solution is ready for its Fall release to the general small-to-medium-sized business marketplace.

"After the initial release announcement, we went on a nationwide, 10 city tour to show our resellers and prospects what was coming," said OAISYS President Jack Wikselaar. "The response we got was truly impressive. As soon as we started to explain how Talkument works and what it does, everyone we spoke with, in every city and industry segment, was immediately able to see the potential for their own business."

As part of the national tour, OAISYS signed up resellers and customers to take part in the beta program, and the first system was successfully installed on July 16th. Most installs have taken less than three hours to complete.

Talkument does for phone calls what e-mail did for letters and memos in terms of retrieval and collaboration. A voice document captures a digital copy of telephone calls for users to comment upon, share and retain. A communications appliance, Talkument connects with a wide range of digital and IP telephone systems to let users record, organize and collaborate using their voice documents.

Among the many features and benefits Talkument offers business users are:

-- Voice Documentation to let users refer to, play back and share voice documents with co-workers and collaborators

-- Document sharing to eliminate errors in recollection and transcription

-- 100 percent data accuracy

-- Accessibility for increased efficiency, eliminating the need to have information re-sent or repeated

-- Highlighting so that recipients can easily locate and use the portion of a conversation that applies to their jobs

-- Comments to add supplemental information

-- Categorization for easy search and retrieval of voice documents

-- Security to permit users to access only the voice documents or sections for which they have permission.

Talkument is available in two versions: Talkument and Talkument Small Office. Talkument Small Office supports up to 20 IP endpoints, upgradeable to 48 for an added charge. Talkument supports up to two (2) T-1 / PRI interfaces or 48 IP endpoints.

Orders for general release begin on October 1 of this year. An overview of the product is available now at http://www.talkument.com. To locate an OAISYS reseller in their area, interested businesses can visit: http://www.oaisys.com/Reseller.cfm.
