On September 17, 2013, St. Louis celebrated the best in business-to-business marketing at the annual Targeted Advertising and Marketing (TAM) awards event held at the Starlight Roof at The Chase Park Plaza. KnowledgeLake, The SharePoint ECM Company, had a successful first year entering the awards as they brought home two TAM Awards.
“It is an honor for our marketing department’s hard work over the past year to be recognized by a prestigious organization like the Business Marketing Association. Our first year entering the awards was a success and we look forward to taking even more awards home next year, as we already have many exciting projects in the pipeline,” said KnowledgeLake’s Vice President of Marketing, Mike Butts.
Sponsored by the St. Louis Chapter of the Business Marketing Association, the TAM Awards (Targeted Advertising and Marketing) recognize excellence in both print and electronic media. Held annually, the awards showcase the best B2B advertising, marketing, corporate and professional communications in the St. Louis region and honor the agencies, companies and individuals who create them. KnowledgeLake was acknowledged for their work in the areas of creative writing in the blog category and video production in the animation category.
The first award KnowledgeLake received was in the category Animation and Motion Graphics Used in a Website. Accepted by KnowledgeLake’s Creative Director DJ Monzyk, KnowledgeLake took home a Gold Award for their work for KnowledgeLake Accounts Payable Solution – Animated Video. The video, created by Monzyk, was created to quickly illustrate how KnowledgeLake’s Accounts Payable Automation Solution for SharePoint delivers overall faster and more accurate Accounts Payable processing to clients.
“This acknowledgement reflects our team’s dedication to making the 2013 launch of our Accounts Payable Automation Solution for Microsoft SharePoint a success. I wanted to create a visual adaptation of a KnowledgeLake client’s personal success story that would resonate with potential clients and serve as an excellent first step into the sales cycle. I am pleased to learn it has been a useful vehicle on our website, in sales calls and various marketing communications,” said Monzyk.
KnowledgeLake also brought home a Silver Award in the category Blogs (Just for Fun,) for their blog, A Taste of the Company Culture at KnowledgeLake. Written by KnowledgeLake’s Corporate Communications and Public Relations Manager Lauren Pesko, the post reinforces and communicates a first-hand, authentic perspective of KnowledgeLake’s unique company culture, and has been a successful recruiting tool used the company’s Human Resources Department, as numerous potential hires have mentioned the post and its positive impression on their perception of the organization during the interview process.
“It’s refreshing to write about topics in which you are truly passionate about, and sharing my personal experience with an organization, in which I feel very fortunate to be a part of, was a truly enjoyable process. I am glad that my personal story has resonated and made an impact on current and potential KnowledgeLake employees,” said Pesko.
