The two-time defending champions, the Chennai Rhinos, who are led by captain Vishal are looking to complete the Hat-trick while millions of fans across India watch with anticipation.

The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), a Cricket league which features actors from different cities in India, is set to commence season 3 on February 9th. The CCL started in 2011 and has gained a huge following in India. The CCL features a relatively new form of cricket which is called Twenty20 and follows similar rules as the Indian Premier League. Vishnu Vardhan Induri, a native of Hyderabad is the Founder and Managing Director of CCL. He started the CCL by selling franchise rights to different cities in India. Although the teams take the name of a major cities in India, they represent their own state.

The Chennai Rhinos are the two-time defending champions and represent Tamil Nadu. The team is coached by coach Raju Padmanabhan and the brand ambassador is Shruthi Hassan. Their captain is Vishal and Vikranth is vice captain, Ramana is the wicketkeeper. Also, the team has Arya, Jiiva, Siva, Vishnu, Santhanu, Prithvi, Rishikanth, Abdullah, Udaykumar, Bharath, Jitthan Ramesh, Shaam and Sri Balaji.

The Chennai Rhinos are starting season 3 of CCL with a match against the Bhojpuri team on February 9th in Kochi, Kerala. Also, the Chennai team is to play matches with Karnataka team on the 16th, with Mumbai team on the 17th and the Bengali team on March 2nd. The semi finals are to be held in Hyderabad on March 9th, and the finals are to be held in Bangalore on the 10th. The Chennai team, which was champion the last year, would face a bigger challenge this time as teams are coming at them much harder. It is anticipated that the Chennai team would respond well and win the trophy for a 3rd time completing the Hat-trick.
