Tampa Bay custom frame gallery The Great Frame Up (http://www.tampa.thegreatframeup.com) was named by Decor Magazine as a Top Art & Framing Retailer for 2009. Locally owned by Alan and Heidrun Divers, The Great Frame Up was awarded the honor for Best Technology Integration - an award that is given to the "frame gallery making the best use of technology to better serve customers." (Decor Magazine, September 2009)

The Great Frame Up has three branches in the Tampa Bay area, all locally owned by Mr. and Mrs. Divers, in South Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Wesley Chapel, Florida. The Divers have set their Tampa area custom frame galleries apart from others in the area through their vast selection of high quality and unique framing options, sleek gallery settings, and use of cutting edge technology to better serve their customers and streamline their business operations. It is this use of technology that not only sets them apart from other local Tampa frame shops, but earned them this national recognition from Decor Magazine.

In the September 2009 issue of Decor Magazine, The Great Frame Up was featured in full article describing the elements of the Tampa frame shops that earned them this award. The article cited The Great Frame Up's use of technology to streamline business operations and eliminate waste, including their use of specialty point-of-sale software to track orders and avoid excess ordering of materials, and a computerized mat cutter which saves time and money and ensures accuracy.

The Decor Magazine article also praised The Great Frame Up's use of cutting edge technology to deliver a robust experience to their customers, unmatched by other frame shops in the Tampa Bay area. This includes their use of Visualization software which allows their customers to "preview" their art with different style fames before they purchase, as well as in-store computers where customers can access the internet to choose from the thousands of other images that online resources have to offer. The Divers have also made use of strategic internet marketing to reach potential customers and build their company's brand and image. They have invested in search engine optimization services (SEO) with local Tampa internet marketing company Webhead Interactive (http://www.webheadtinteractive.com), which has put them at the top of the search engines for many terms that potential clients use to find their business, and has helped to further build The Great Frame Up brand as a leader in the Tampa Bay art community.

"It's a real honor to be recognized on a national level by Decor Magazine, a respected source in the art and decor community," said Alan Divers, co-owner of The Great Frame Up. "We have really tried to embrace technology and use it to our advantage, to more efficiently run our business and to provide added benefits to our customers as well. It has really helped us to set ourselves apart from other Tampa frame shops, and our customers notice the difference," said Divers.
