TheTeaParty.net announced today that it will host Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) in the next installment of its tele-townhall series on Thursday, September 22, at 2:10 PM ET.

"Sen. Paul is one of the most ardent supporters of the Tea Party movement and we look forward to having him," said Todd Cefaratti, Freedom Organizer for TheTeaParty.net. "This country would be much better off if there were 100 Rand Pauls in the Senate, and our members are excited to hear from him."

This tele-forum townhall style event, hosted by syndicated talk show host, Rusty Humphries, will give Tea Party members an opportunity to ask questions of Sen. Paul in real time. Those who wish to participate can sign up for the event at http://www.TheTeaPartyAction.com/Paul/. Participants can also ask questions via twitter leading up to the event by using the #teacyber hashtag or can press *3 to ask questions while on the call. The townhall can also be heard via USTREAM at time of event.

This will be the eighth event in the Tea Party Cyber Tour, which has made Conservative leaders, from Rep. Allen West to Sen. Mike Lee, available to Tea Party supporters across the country. The last event featured Rep. Steve King (R-IA) and was attended by over 2,000 supporters across the country.
