Deadline for George Fox University's Master of Education Program is Nov. 1

Program accredited nationally by National Council for Accreditation of Teaching Education.

Newberg, Ore. (Vocus/PRWEB ) September 18, 2009 - The 2010-11 application deadline for George Fox University's master of education program is set for Nov. 1. The graduate program, designed for licensed educators, is offered through the university's School of Education, which is approved by the Oregon Teachers and Standards Practices Commission and accredited nationally by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.

The program is designed to fulfill the professional development needs of educators who specialize in different aspects of K-12 and higher education. The program empowers educators by honing the personal development and professional teaching skills needed to guide students in today's world.

The master of education offers online courses in fall and spring semesters, as well as on-site courses; evening courses at the university's Portland Center near Tigard and in area schools throughout the school year; and a flexible summer school on the university's Newberg campus. A distinguishing trademark of the program is a cutting-edge curriculum that incorporates innovative classroom techniques, computer technologies, and a broad spectrum of educational, psychological and sociological issues.
