Magazines.com, the Internet's largest magazine subscription service, announced today that its CIO Jeff Fields will be a speaker at the upcoming 11th Annual Technology Nashville Conference, slated for May 4 in downtown Nashville. The Nashville Technology Council, a non-profit organization and affiliate of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, hosts the full-day technology conference each year.

Fields will participate on a panel discussion entitled the “Strategic Role of Technology in the C-Suite.”

“I’m honored to be a part of the Technology Nashville Conference,” Fields said. “I look forward to the discussing the strategic role of technology in business. It’s important that technology professionals have both strategic and operational skills to succeed in working with business owners.”

The conference highlights Middle Tennessee technology companies, technology innovation, talent acquisition and entrepreneurship in four key regional industries: healthcare, transactions, music/publishing and commerce. In addition, the conference will feature an IT exposition with more than 25 Middle Tennessee companies, showcasing the latest technology products and services for businesses.

Technology Nashville Conference is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4th at the Nashville Convention Center.
