Smith as its new Vice President of Business Development to coincide with the company's purchase of the old Federal Reserve Bank Building in Downtown Little Rock. Both are strategic moves to manage a planned expansion that will double the company's size over the next four years.
Little Rock, AR (PRWEB) June 25, 2008 -- Mainstream Technologies Inc. (MTI) a Little Rock, AR based information technology services and consulting firm announced the hiring of Mr. Ed H. Smith as its new Vice President of Business Development to coincide with the company's purchase of the old Federal Reserve Bank Building in Downtown Little Rock. Both are strategic moves to manage a planned expansion that will double the company's size over the next four years.
Mr. Smith will join the executive team and be responsible for managing the business development growth of Mainstream Technologies as it undergoes a planned four-year expansion. He brings to Mainstream a broad business background with a focus on business development, marketing and sales management. In addition to managing an Arkansas based company for 21 years, he started another service-oriented business that continues to be successful after 17 years. He also was an owner in a nationally franchised employment agency.
Most recently he was responsible for the development and roll-out of a biometric identity authentication solution to serve the needs of the world's largest financial institutions. A product of Arkansas, he graduated from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He has been a proponent of Small Business both locally and nationally, including the Chairmanships of the National Advisory Council to the US Senate Small Business Committee and Arkansas' NFIB Guardian Advisory Council. He lives in Little Rock with his wife Melinda and their children.
