Cleveland cares about bullying. On Wednesday, September 5, 2012, Your Teen Media, with University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and Lawrence School, present a free panel discussion on bullying hosted by Todd Meany, Fox 8 News Reporter.

On Thursday, September 6, 2012, Facing History and Ourselves with the Allstate Foundation, present a free viewing of the movie "Bully," followed by a discussion with Director Lee Hirsch. On Friday, September 7, 2012, 1,000 CMSD students will view the movie "Bully" and have a discussion with Director Lee Hirsch.

The Your Teen Panel Discussion will be 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m at Tri-C Corporate College East, 4400 Richmond Road, Warrensville Heights, Ohio. CEU credits are available. Prior to the discussion, Your Teen hosts a FREE Parent Expo that begins at 6:00 p.m., with the first 100 attendees eligible for drawing to win an iPad.

The panel discussion coincides with the feature on the topic of bullying that appears in the Fall 2012 issue of Your Teen magazine.

"We do not need to be helpless in the face of bullying. We can reduce bullying by properly defining it and teaching students what to do when they witness it," says Dr. Damour.
