The density, scalability and the reliability of TelcoBridges hardware complements our world-class VoiceXML and CCXML technology
Montreal, Canada (Vocus) August 5, 2009
TelcoBridges™ Inc., the preferred hardware and software supplier for telecom system integrators, solution developers and service providers, today announced that it has expanded its partnership with Interact , to integrate the latest versions of TelcoBridges' Tdev™ platforms with Interact's recently enhanced SPOT Voice XML/CCXML-based interpreter set, Version 6.12. The combination of these offerings makes it easier for solutions providers to build carrier-grade VXML-CCXML-based IVR services, and deploy them across thousands of wireless, VoIP and TDM call channels simultaneously.
Interact's SPOT VoiceXML/CCXML-based interpreter set, developed for high-density carrier-grade services providers, provides the speech synthesis and speech recognition capabilities that are needed to connect calls for automated telephony applications, such as: voice dialing, national directory assistance, wake-up calls, flight tracking, or any other form of IVR application. Today, commercial VoiceXML applications process millions of calls each day.
TelcoBridges' award-winning Tdev Development Platforms provide the media handling functionality required to connect calls crossing wireless, TDM and IP voice networks. These development platforms also feature the tools that solutions developers need to build network-wide applications, such as unified communications, ring-back tones, background music injection, least-cost-routing, and prepaid/postpaid services.
Both TelcoBridges and Interact have recently enhanced their offerings, and TelcoBridges has released the new TMG800 media gateway, designed for service providers with lower capacity requirements. By working together to ensure ongoing compatibility, the two companies are making it easier for solutions developers and service providers to build world-class telecommunications solutions that support all of the latest applications and services, and can scale to accommodate any sized network.

"Interact is a clear leader in VoiceXML solutions, and our partnership enables our customers to build innovative IVR applications in VXML/CCXML, that can scale to accommodate any network or subscriber base - ranging from local service providers to the largest operators in the world," said Danny P. Blouin, TelcoBridges' VP of Marketing.
"The density, scalability and the reliability of TelcoBridges hardware complements our world-class VoiceXML and CCXML technology," said Greg Gissler, Founder, VP and CTO of Interact. "By ensuring the compatibility of our latest offerings, we've created a perfect development platform for solutions providers targeting the carrier marketplace."
