MDSL, the leading provider of global telecom expense management (TEM) and market data management (MDM) solutions, continues its international expansion and has signed its first TEM deal in Tokyo with a top five Japanese bank to manage all mobility in Asia and provide managed services for 20-plus offices in the United States.
While industry analyst Gartner estimates that the TEM application sector will grow into a $1.7 billion business in America by the end of 2010, the Asia Pacific market is still young. MDSL first opened an office in Tokyo in 2003 when it began to see that customers there, like Europe, needed powerful but flexible solutions. Today, MDSL is perceived as the only serious TEM provider in Asia.
“As companies in Asia grow, build their workforce and provide their people with mobile communication tools, there is an increasing need to manage the related expenses,” says Andrew Evans, COO, Asia Pacific. “We are extremely excited to again be on the cutting edge of expanding the boundaries of international telecom expense management and are confident that our solution will provide the flexibility, automation of processes and ongoing cost optimization that our client needs.”
“The Japanese bank views MDSL as a trusted partner,” adds Ben Mendoza, CEO. “We were selected because of our success managing their global market data spend, their third largest business expense. We proved to them that we have the software, people resources stationed locally in Tokyo and Macau and international experience to manage the multiple languages, currencies and regulations required to implement successful global expense management solutions in the Asia Pacific region and beyond.”
As the world leader in Telecom Expense Management (TEM) and Market Data Management (MDM), MDSL delivers software solutions and services that help international organizations reduce their costs significantly and on a global scale. More than 150 customers in over 34 countries trust in our products to improve their bottom-line results and ensure a fluid and controlled use of their telecom and market data services.
