Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) July 6, 2009
The Graphics Production for this "Staycation" destination in Georgia is now complete by Color Reflections, after they were awarded the bid in the fall of 2008. Special projects will continue.
Now housed in a 120,000 square foot facility including the existing Weiman Mineral Museum in Cartersville, this new facility continues to inspire and educate visitors about the science and geology of Georgia and the Southeastern United States. Roger Waters, one of Color Reflections veteran and nationally respected Project Managers, worked closely with curator Jose Santamaria and the museum design team to make seemingly impossible ideas into realities; from creating cloud icons in the sky to a surreal landscape at a fossil dig. Color Reflection's floor to ceiling custom high resolution wallpaper murals, photo reader rails, 3-dimensional interactive signage, and precision router cut graphics are found throughout the museum. To complete the project, they constructed a fiber optic illuminated 60" x 80" interactive map of the many minerals mined in Georgia.
Images attached depict custom wallpaper of the Grand Canyon, floor graphics and custom fabricated framework for a Foucault's Pendulum and a satellite's perspective of the planet with a cross section of the earth core on more floor graphics.
Young and old alike will find much to see and do at this new museum. Explore a fossil dig (you can even take a fossil home), try panning for gold, gem hunting, and visit the planetarium. This museum http://www.tellusmuseum.org, as well as The Booth Western Art Museum are located in Cartersville, and are great same day trips to include in your summer plans with the family, just an hour north of Atlanta off of I75, exit 293.Visit http://www.cratlanta.com for additional photos of nationally recognized branding projects from Color Reflections Atlanta.
