Ten Days Till...the new collaborative project between Producer / writer OD Hunte and singer / songwriter Lifford is celebrating the placement of “Get Them Hands Hi” in the EA Sports NBA Live 07 soundtrack.

“Get Them Hands Hi” features sung vocals by Lifford Shillingford who scored a UK number two hit as the featured vocalist on Artful Dodger’s “Please Don’t Turn Me On.” Born to South African parents who later moved to the UK, Lifford cites his influences as Al Green, Billie Holiday, Dina Washington, Marvin Gaye and Otis Redding. Rap vocals and production duties are by Trinidadian born OD Hunte.

“This is a great boost for the Ten Days Till project,” says OD Hunte. “to be alongside such international superstars as Gnarls Barkley (Warners), Black Eyed Peas (Interscope), Lupe Fiasco (Atlantic) and Rhymefest (J Records) shows we can hang with the best,” continues OD. “This is my second placement with EA Sports this year, Crook Dancin’ on Fight Night Round 3 being the first but I still feel very honored to be associated with EA sports and these top acts.”

“Get Them Hands Hi” is taken from the MusicSoulLife digital EP and album of the same name. “Get Them Hands Hi” and “I Am What I Am” will be available as digital singles from all major digital outlets in early October 2006. With influences such as John Legend, The Fugees, The Roots and Outkast, MusicSoulLife promises to be a contemporary blend of Soul, Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae, and Jazz. The album is expected to be available in the first quarter 2007.
