Hall and Hall Auctions will be handling the November 2, 2012 auction of a 34,363 acre Texas cattle ranch at the San Angelo Convention Center in San Angelo, TX at 10:30 a.m. CST. Pecan Creek Ranch is located in southern Tom Green and northern Schleicher counties approximately 18 miles from San Angelo, and is one of the larger working ranches in the Concho Valley. The property offers outstanding hunting and grazing lands along with great wind and mineral potential. Pecan Creek Ranch will be offered in seven individual tracts, any combination of tracts, or as a total unit. Each tract is well watered and strategically fenced with outstanding access from paved and gravel county roads. The ranch is watered by a combination of windmills, sub pumps, solar pumps and numerous storage tanks and receives approximately 20” of precipitation annually.
An attractive 5,000 sq. ft. native stone lodge with guest accommodations sits on Tract 5, atop a plateau overlooking the ranch. A new state-of-the-art set of working/shipping pens is located on Tract 3, and several working corrals and holding pens are located across the other tracts.

“This is a stellar working ranch with hunting and minerals in the renowned Concho Valley,” said Scott Shuman of Hall and Hall Auctions. “It has a first-rate cattle handling and working facility with loading chutes, scales, a large set of holding pens, several overhead feed bins and a number of storage barns and outbuildings.”

Pecan Creek Ranch offers tremendous wildlife with excellent white tail deer, turkey, and quail hunting. The game-managed property has significant annual income just from the hunting operation. The sale includes 100% of wind rights and 50% of the seller’s mineral rights associated with the property.

Pecan Creek Ranch is ideally located just 20 minutes south of San Angelo, in close proximity to livestock markets and services, area attractions, and Mathis Field Airport. The property is well equipped to handle any top-notch cattle operation and presents a great opportunity to own a highly recognized and sought after cattle ranch rich in Texas history.
