In addition to extending the phone hours, TXT180 has expanded some of the platform features making it possible for customers scheduling outbound messages to select his/her local time zone. A business planning to send a message out tomorrow at noon can put the message in the scheduler today, choose the date and time for the message to be sent and then select the local time zone: PST, MST, CST, or EST. TXT180 has also made changes to the control panel for both SMS resellers and end-users. The TXT180 team is excited about the new option of exporting contacts, history, and inbox messages to a CSV file. Exporting the history creates a plain-text file that includes date, time, number of contacts, and a copy of the actual messages that were sent from the platform.
Other enhancements to the SMS reseller control panel make it possible to hide the tips box and the link to the Mobile Marketing Guide. Resellers now have the option of uploading their own mobile marketing guide to provide customized tips for his/her customers. Resellers can also add a URL to the end-users control panel, allowing for a link to upgrade the account making it easier for the end user to upgrade the account anytime. Another popular feature added to the reseller control panel is the ability to select an optional tagline; the tagline is sent with the initial opt-in message and provides 96 characters for a customized message to be sent with the mandatory information.
