Layne Publications, a very popular online music tablature website, recently released several of their unique Song Packages. Included in the new songs was “The Old Homeplace,” a mandolin favorite.

There are few online stores that have high quality bluegrass, folk, gospel, and seasonal music tabs, and even fewer that offer these tabs at reasonable prices. Layne Publications not only has hundreds of quality music tabs, but each one comes in an inexpensive Layne Publications Song Package that includes some great extras. Layne Publications recently released several new Song Packages, including The Old Homeplace for mandolin, a beautiful and nostalgic bluegrass song that Layne Publications makes easy to learn and fun to play.

Layne Publications makes all of the old bluegrass favorites easy to learn, and they continue to add and improve on their music website. Song Packages from Layne Publications come with a free MP3 of the song, free full sheet music, and a free Layne Publications’ Specialty JAM Track. These JAM Tracks are copies of the selected song, but without the sounds of the student’s selected instrument. This makes it possible for students to play along with a full band. This method of learning is fast, fun, and easy.

About Layne Publications

Since 2005 has been the premier source for Bluegrass Instruction and learning. We've sold thousands of tabs and help thousands of players improve their ability in the comfort of their own home. They can then take this new skill out to their local bluegrass jam session or to the next practice with their band and show off what they've learned. It gives them the chance to practice things at home without the pressure of getting it right the first time. They can take their time. Stop, rewind and continue going over that trouble spot without the bass player standing there giving them the evil eye because he wants to move on to the next song.
