were recording...in Times Square...when Mr. Trump pulled up with his security detail and motorcade...
NEW YORK (PRWEB) October 09, 2019
The goal of The Mack Talks is to bring on impressive entrepreneurs, community leaders and business owners and share their stories. The iconic Naked Cowboy has always been a highly sought after guest for the show, and what better location to conduct this episode than at his office: Times Square. Episode #39 of The Mack Talks with The Naked Cowboy.
The morning of Tuesday, October 8th, The Mack Talks took the trip down to the heart of the Big Apple, set up shop on a lunch table across from the TKTS booth, and began recording with the infamous street performer. The goal was to capture his story, from his days as a rambunctious youngster in Ohio to the beginnings of his entrepreneurial career as near-nude musical performer in Times Square (and all over the world).
Around 20 minutes into the podcast, a brigade of blacked out SUV's approached coming up 47th street, and out walks the 45th President of The United States, surrounded by his security.
The podcast transformed into a mob scene almost immediately, as bystanders, tourists and buskers rushed to catch a glimpse of what was going on. The Naked Cowboy immediately stood up and approached the president, who seemed to be there just for him. It wasn't long until access to the president was completely shut off, as people rushed to get photos and videos.
The entirety of Trump’s visit probably only lasted about 2 minutes, as he approached the sitting area, surrounded by his formidable security detail, and pointed at The Naked Cowboy, heaping praise on him. 2 of New Yorks most famous Entrepreneurs in Times Square at the same time! Trump peppered the Naked Cowboy with compliments, saying: “You’re doing a GREAT job, Mr. Burck. New York loves you, Americans love you. Keep it up.” It was a brief but meaningful exchange.
At the present moment, there’s no telling why the president decided to make this pit stop. With the upcoming 2020 election, it may be a PR move to rally his supporters around his camp, in order to build momentum for his campaign.
Maybe he was just on his way through Times Square and made a spur of the moment decision to pull over and pay Mr. Burck a visit. It's hard to tell these days what his motives are.
