The Ritz-Carlton Highlands, Lake Tahoe announces today the on-line posting of nearly three hundred jobs for the resort’s opening on December 9 mid-mountain in Northstar-at-Tahoe®. “It’s exciting to see the final details of the resort’s completion and know that The Ritz-Carlton is creating jobs in North Lake Tahoe,” said Allen Highfield, general manager for the resort. Management and non-management jobs will be created in guest services, culinary, engineering, housekeeping and food & beverage departments. A few administrative jobs will be posted as well.
“The Ritz-Carlton is one of the premier service companies in the world and that level of service comes from the Ladies and Gentlemen we select and train,” Highfield added. “We are proud to say it is now time to select those extraordinary Ladies and Gentlemen to open Lake Tahoe’s newest resort.” Though many leadership positions have been filled from The Ritz-Carlton around the globe, expectations are that the vast majority of these new postings, will be filled by local candidates in Lake Tahoe, Northern California and nearby Reno, Nevada.
Part of bringing senior leadership to Lake Tahoe from around the world is to introduce The Ritz-Carlton philosophy, the long-standing core of the company’s iconic service culture. During the resort’s opening weeks, dedicated trainers from The Ritz-Carlton worldwide, will join the local Ladies and Gentlemen to work side-by-side to open the resort’s doors to the first guests.
