This week TheBoaters TV is celebrating one year on the air. Since debuting June 18th, 2007, TheBoaters TV has completed more than 150 episodes and produced more than 18 hours of content.
It's the leading podcast for the marine industry and is dedicated to everything boating. Episodes of the show have been viewed more than one million times. Hosted by Stacey Hanrahan, a USCG licensed captain and member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, each episode boasts between 8,000 and 20,000 views during its first week of broadcast.
Industry leaders have embraced the show's innovated approach. TheBoaters TV has partnered with some big names in the marine industry including BoatU.S. TheBoaters TV team has also formed alliances with premier media partners including BoatTEST Reports, Mad Mariner, Southern Boating Magazine, PassageMaker, and Blue Water Sailing Magazine.
Part of the show's success can be attributed to its design. "TheBoaters TV was made for the Internet," says producer Leonard Boord. "Its message, creative editing and style of the host create a unique combination. Since its launch, TheBoaters TV has learned how to position itself as the preferred marine podcast."
TheBoaters TV is syndicated via 20 plus video content aggregators including iTunes, YouTube, and AOL Video. High resolution versions can be viewed on TheBoaters.TV and its sister site, TheBoaters.com, a social networking site for boat owners and enthusiasts.
