A big thank you to Dave Thompson - Chelsea Pensioner - for all the fun and support throughout the show.

There was a great buzz around The Garden Furniture Centre Trade Stand at The RHS Chelsea Flower Show this year. They opened 120 bottles of Laurent Perrier and offered a complimentary glass of bubbly to browsers as they looked around - a personal touch for the centenary year.
The video included offers a full tour of the stand showing the impressive laser engraved bamboo planters and backboards that worked to great effect as finishing touch whilst at the same time complementing the Rattan Garden Furniture that was prevalent on the trade stand.
Jon Haimes, Managing Director at The Garden Furniture Centre, would like to personally thank the Chelsea Pensioner - Dave Thompson, (pictured) - for all his support and charisma on the stand throughout the show and for the tour of the Royal Hospital grounds as well.
They even had a visit from The Godfather of Italian Gastronomy, Antonio Carluccio; probably the lure of the champagne proved too difficult to resist along with the chance to rest his weary legs.
The most popular items of furniture were the mighty Apple Day Bed, the exotic Bamboo Gazebo and the quirky Bruce The Bull Cooler who entertained and kept the drinks cool all week – well done Bruce!
All in all, if it wasn’t for the terrible weather on the Friday, it would have been a record year in the history of The Garden Furniture Centre’s long running presence at The Chelsea Flower Show.
