The Mark Wine News - Summer 2012

The winery continues to show its established Cabernet Sauvignon-making excellence. Just last week, Raymond Vineyards was nominated for Wine Enthusiast magazine’s prestigious Wine Star Award, “American Winery of the Year”.

This Summer's edition of The Mark Wine News features Napa Valley’s Raymond Vineyards. The “Everybody Loves Raymond” cover story outlines the Raymond renaissance – The Jean-Charles Boisset inspired re-invigoration of the brand which is considered a hallmark of Napa Valley and with history in the valley nearly 90 years deep.

The winery continues to show its established Cabernet Sauvignon-making excellence under the guidance of proprietor Jean-Charles Boisset and winemaker Stephanie Putnam. Just last week, Raymond was nominated for Wine Enthusiast magazine’s prestigious Wine Star Award, “American Winery of the Year”.

“Wine Maeven”, Maeve Pesquera, who is the Director of Wine for Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, is also featured along with personal interviews of Steven Micheletti, CEO of Z’ Tejas, and Theresa Heredia, new winemaker at Gary Farrell Vineyards & Winery in the Russian River Valley.

Other news includes the release of SIP Moscato, the introduction of Flash Détente, and a recap of Aspen City Limits, the Mark Wine Group's signature event at the 2012 Aspen Food and Wine Festival.
