The Meadows Workshops Offer Alternative to Treatment

The Meadows trauma and addiction treatment center in Wickenburg, Ariz., offers a variety of unique, five day workshops available to all interested individuals. Participants work on sensitive issues in a concentrated format allowing them to practice new relational skills within a safe environment.

In collaboration with industry leaders and Senior Fellows such as Claudia Black, MSW, PhD, and Alexandra Katehakis, MFT, CSAT-S, CST-S, The Meadows has enhanced much of its already rich workshop content to offer participants the latest in cutting-edge techniques.

The Meadows’ workshops are a cost-effective alternative, when long-term treatment is not an option and cater to those who have already undergone treatment, as well as those who cannot be away from their work or families for an extended period of time.

These workshops specifically address the needs of those who have just begun a recovery process or those who have been on a recovery path and may be stuck or want to deepen their experience. It can also be a source of renewal for anyone who has undergone treatment.

“A Meadows Intensive Workshop is an effective method of accelerating a client’s progress. It is a great opportunity for clients that could benefit from a strong jump-start, it provides a container, allowing a client to go deeper, and an impetus to strengthen their resolve and propel them forward,” said Jean Collins, MSW, LISAC, CSAT, Director of Workshops at The Meadows.
