Presentation Series - "Profiles of Actual Retail Options Trading Results" by Sheridan Mentoring Students

Share Article

Dan Sheridan from Sheridan Mentoring will be joined by several of his current and past students who will share their experiences as retail options traders before, during and after mentoring with Dan and his team. This is an opportunity to gain some insight not only into what is "doable" as a retail trader, but also the very significant role that accountability plays in the trading business. We have scheduled this presentation for 90-minutes, a half-hour longer than most of our complimentary presentations, just to be sure that Dan and each of his students have adequate time to share their experiences and insights with you. Thanks for putting on such an informative webinar. It opened my eyes up to the possibilities when one trades properly. I have never traded options before so this was very educational. - Brian T.

Opinions differ about what the kind of returns a retail options trader can realistically expect. There are numerous factors that affect the yields experienced from one trader to the next and in the retail trading world that fact is magnified all the more.

Retail traders typically work in a vacuum, isolated in the spare bedroom or while stealing a moment at their day-job to check in on their positions or place trades. Inconsistency is an unfortunate hallmark for most.

Sheridan Mentoring is one of the premiere mentoring services for retail options traders. On August 8, 2011, current and former students will join Sheridan Mentoring's headmaster, Dan Sheridan, for a live discussion about actual returns experienced by those students both before, during and after having completed the mentoring program.

Dan Sheridan will also share what he has seen over the several years he has been training retail options traders and how important accountability is for the practice of trading. We will explore the how a quality mentoring program can help a retail options trader develop consistency and profitability.

On of the more interesting observations made over the years is that students enrolled in his mentoring program tend to achieve and maintain profitability as they progress through the program, but after completing their mentoring tend to see their level of profitability decline. Dan attributes this to the high level of accountability placed upon mentoring students.

Once the program is completed and the student is no longer reporting to his assigned coach, the natural tendency is adopt a more relaxed - and less accountable approach - to trading. So, during this presentation we will also try to press both Dan and his students for their insights on how a retail options trader can maintain a high level of accountability even when not regularly reporting to a trading coach.

"Profiles of Actual Retail Options Trading Results" starts at 6:00 p.m., Pacific Time, on Monday, August 8, 2011. The presentation is open to the public and it is free to attend.
