Rainmaker has a golden opportunity to help deliver even stronger results to our clients’ bottom line.

The Rainmaker Group, the world leader in automated revenue management software and services to the gaming/hospitality and multifamily housing industries, appointed Tom Walker as Director of Sales for Rainmaker’s Gaming/Hospitality Division.

Walker was previously with Rainmaker from 2004 to 2007 and now returns to the company after serving as a senior industry consultant for lodging at Teradata, where he was responsible for identifying opportunities for clients to leverage enterprise data to create competitive advantage. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Revenue Management for Omni Hotels, a valued Rainmaker client.

Industry Optimism Fuels Demand for Total Guest Value Revenue Management
“We are extremely pleased to have Tom back on the Rainmaker team. The timing could not be better,” said Tammy Farley, principal of The Rainmaker Group. “There is a great deal of optimism in the gaming and hospitality industry after the recent downturn. Today, our industry sees itself getting stronger. Properties are ready to focus on capturing and calculating the total customer value of each guest to increase property profitability.”

Walker’s sales responsibilities include Rainmaker’s premier revenue and TribalREV™ solutions. He will also be responsible for selling new Rainmaker solutions for the Gaming/Hospitality Division that are scheduled for introduction later this year.

Rainmaker boosts revenues up to 15%
“Rainmaker has a golden opportunity to help deliver even stronger results to our clients’ bottom line,” said Walker. “Now more than ever, gaming and hospitality companies are working to optimize the performance of every profit center. With our system – which does exactly that – we have seen returns of up to 15%.”

TribalREV Solution makes advanced Revenue Management affordable
Walker added that the most sophisticated revenue management solutions are no longer out of reach for smaller Tribal casino hotel properties with a modest budget. “There are numerous smaller Tribal casinos whose budget doesn’t support the hardware, software and specialized personnel expense of implementing Revenue Management in-house,” he said. “Rainmaker is changing this by providing TribalREV, a turn-key solution that includes our system along with the services of an expert revenue management professional from Rainmaker to serve as the Tribal casino hotel’s revenue management strategist. This enables smaller Tribal casino hotel operators to take advantage of the same technology as the largest companies and benefit from Rainmaker’s professional expertise.”
