The SMB Help Desk, Inc., an IT consulting company, has sponsored Operation Click, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization promoting safe teen driving, for the 3rd consecutive year. The Operation Click program which is active within 54 High School’s throughout Illinois and Wisconsin, requires students to adhere to a contract which states they will wear their seat belts at all times, they will not drink and drive, they will not ride in a car with a driver who has consumed alcohol, and they will not be convicted of any traffic related violations. At the end of the year, winning students are given a car as a Grand Prize.
This year, The SMB Help Desk, Inc. contributed in multiple ways as a Dean’s List Sponsor by developing the new Operation Click website and purchasing a trailer that hauls the distracted driving golf carts from school to school.

Operation Click started in 1998 in Crystal Lake, IL as a seat belt awareness program with just three high schools. Since then, the program has expanded to 54 schools across Illinois and Wisconsin.
