“We were thrilled to win this much coveted contract and it allowed us to deliver the kind of integrated campaign we pride ourselves on."
Falmouth, Cornwall (PRWEB UK) 26 July 2012
In early 2012 The Vine won a competitive pitch to deliver a fully integrated campaign for Ignite, one of Europe’s largest business planning competitions, offering start up businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly the chance to win over £100,000 worth of business support and funding. The Vine developed the Ideas Can Happen Anywhere campaign, which has been shortlisted in the Integrated Communications category in the CIPR Pride Awards (West of England region).
Lotte Mahon, Head Honcho - The Vine commented:
“We were thrilled to win this much coveted contract and it allowed us to deliver the kind of integrated campaign we pride ourselves on. The Oxford Innovation team embraced our ideas, which included some fresh approaches, such as producing Ignite Magazine. As always, I’m immensely proud of my talented team for their dedication to this campaign. Being shortlisted in this category is testament to their creativity and tenacity.”
The campaign was rolled out through a combination of striking advertising which ran throughout Cornwall, press coverage and the first ever Ignite Magazine - a printed publication which gives budding entrepreneurs bite-sized advice from business specialists to help them to Ignite their business idea.
Since the campaign launched in late April, Oxford Innovation has been inundated with enquiries about the Ignite Experience, its free business workshops that help entrants clarify their ideas ahead of entering the Ignite competition.
Simon Gill, Business Coach - Oxford Innovation commented:
"I’m so pleased to see that The Vine’s hard work on Ignite 2012 has been recognised by such an esteemed industry body as the CIPR. The Vine has been at the heart of the organisation of the Ignite campaign, liaising with creative agencies, managing suppliers and the press. The feedback we have received on the campaign from our team, partners, customers and suppliers has been outstanding. We look forward to working with them in the future."
The Vine continues to work with Oxford Innovation offering press support leading up to the Ignite final judging day and awards ceremony in late October 2012.
CIPR CEO, Jane Wilson MCIPR, commented:
“The CIPR PRide Awards celebrate the best PR and communications campaigns and teams from the profession across the UK. To be shortlisted for a CIPR PRide Award demonstrates exemplary achievement, impact and value – immediately putting your work in the spotlight. The sheer number of high quality entries received this year, especially when things are still pretty tough out there economically, is testament to a thriving nationwide industry. Congratulations for reaching this stage and the best of luck for the awards presentation evenings.”
