Our goal is to stock Tri-Lakes Cares’ shelves for Thanksgiving to help them feed the hungry.
Colorado Springs, CO (PRWEB) October 06, 2016
Broker Associate Jean Wheaton, of The Wheaton Team at RE/MAX Properties, Inc., is proud to announce her office is spearheading a food donation drive from October 24 to November 14. Food items, which can be dropped off at the RE/MAX Properties Monument office, 1761 Lake Woodmoor Drive, Monument, CO, will be donated to the Tri-Lakes Cares food pantry. “Our goal is to stock Tri-Lakes Cares’ shelves for Thanksgiving to help them feed the hungry,” said Wheaton.
Tri-Lakes Cares is a community-based, volunteer-supported resource center whose purpose is to improve people’s lives through emergency, self-sufficiency and relief programs. As the only food pantry and human services organization located in and serving the Tri-Lakes region of Northern El Paso County, it is a critical resource for those in need.
To further assist Tri-Lakes Cares, The Wheaton Team will be asking for food donations at their client appreciation party on October 17 at Pikes Peak Brewing Co. “We are encouraging our clients to bring nonperishable food items that will go a long way in helping Tri-Lakes Cares in its mission,” concluded Wheaton.
