As Doucette’s first two novels, "Immortal" and "Hellenic Immortal" continue to climb the ranks on Amazon, The Writer’s Coffee Shop is thrilled to be continuing this relationship with Doucette. The Writer's Coffee Shop, who is best known for publishing the wildly popular "Fifty Shades of Grey" trilogy, has stepped outside the romance genre with Doucette's fantasy novels.

Currently, Immortal is in the top 100 on Amazon Kindle’s Fantasy list.

Jenny Pedroza, Chief Marketing Officer for The Writer’s Coffee Shop, is extremely excited about the success of his books. “Doucette’s books are growing in popularity everyday and I am proud we have signed him on for his next novel.”

“I’m very excited,” said Gene Doucette. “My experience with The Writer's Coffee Shop has been fantastic so far, and I very much look forward to working with them to get Fixer out to my readers.”

"Fixer" is a science-fiction/fantasy/horror mash-up about a man named Corrigan Bain, who can see a rolling five seconds into the future. When helping FBI agent Maggie Trent solve a string of mysterious deaths Corrigan discovers there is something in the future that doesn’t want to be seen. “It’s more serious than the 'Immortal' series,” admits Mr. Doucette, “a little darker, more complex, and definitely more horrific.”

"Fixer" is expected to debut in the first half of 2013.

The Writer's Coffee Shop previously published Mr. Doucette’s "Immortal" in March 2012, and the sequel, "Hellenic Immortal" in May 2012. The novels are a blend of contemporary fantasy, sci-fi, humor and historical fiction starring an immortal narrator with a wry take on the world and a drinking problem to go with it. Both books have been steadily climbing best-seller lists since their debuts. Currently, Immortal is in the top 100 on Amazon Kindle’s Fantasy list.

To celebrate this wonderful accomplishment, The Writer’s Coffee Shop will be hosting a contest that will run to the end of September. Anyone that orders one of Doucette’s books from The Writer’s Coffee Shop website will be entered into a drawing for an autographed copy of both Immortal and Hellenic Immortal.
