This free release will also give new readers that are unfamiliar with Hayes’s romance work, a chance to see what all the buzz is about.

Although the "Finding Anna" series is seasoned with erotica overtones, Hayes is, first and foremost, a romance novelist. The fabric of her characters is expertly woven into a timeless story of love and friendship. To bring more awareness to her romance titles, The Writer’s Coffee Shop will be highlighting another of Hayes’s novels, "Hidden Threat", by offering this free novella based on the characters from the novel.
"Hidden Threat", a suspenseful romance published in December of 2010, was Hayes‘s debut novel and one of the first in print for The Writer’s Coffee Shop Publishing House. It is a suspenseful romance that revolves around the relationship between Cali Stanton, an intelligent woman whose dreams are put on hold to help out her father’s business, and Matthew Andersen, the devastatingly attractive man hired to protect the Stanton family business. As it becomes apparent that someone is after Cali, Matthew will do anything to protect her.
"A Christmas Proposal" picks up where Hidden Threat left off. The short story continues the relationship between Cali and Matthew and gives the reader a glimpse of the romance these two lovers continue to share.
“After much consideration,” says Pedroza, “we have decided to post "A Christmas Proposal" as a free e-book to say ‘thank you’ to Sherri Hayes’s loyal fan base. This free release will also give new readers that are unfamiliar with Hayes’s romance work, a chance to see what all the buzz is about.”
"A Christmas Proposal" can be found on iBooks and The Writer’s Coffee Shop site. As a bonus, a portion of Hayes’ novel, "Hidden Threat", will be included at the end of the novella.
