Celebracion Latina at Audubon Zoo

Celebración Latina at Audubon Zoo offers a genuine taste of Latin American culture with live music, children’s activities and Latin cuisine.

Celebración Latina at Audubon Zoo's Capital One Stage and Field offers a genuine taste of Latin American culture with live music, children’s activities and Latin cuisine prepared and sold by local restaurants. Local artisans sell handmade crafts, and local social service and education organizations offer wellness, education and social service information. The event is presented by Stone Center for Latin American Studies at Tulane University.

Brazilian Market and Cafe, Felipes Taqueria and Celina's will serve up signature dishes while special Latina-themed arts and crafts keep the kids entertained.

While enjoying the fiesta, Zoo visitors can stroll to Jaguar Jungle, Audubon Zoo's Central America exhibit. Jaguars, spider monkeys, macaws and other animals from the region are displayed in a setting dotted with reproductions of ancient structures from Copan and Chichan Itza.

Celebración Latina offers fun family things to do in New Orleans. Festival activities are included in regular admission to Audubon Zoo, which is $16 for adults, $11 for children 2-12, and $13 for seniors 65+.
