Ticket Liquidator proudly unveils a new contest enabling 12 weekly winners to win $50 and one grand prize winner to win $200 towards an event of his or her choice in celebration of Ticket Liquidator’s upcoming 10-year anniversary in 2013. Beginning on October 8, 2012 at 12 p.m., fans will have a chance to complete the second half of Ticket Liquidator’s new slogan, “It’s more than a ticket,” by describing in their own words what a live event means to them. Each week, the creative team at Ticket Liquidator will choose the best slogan and award the entrant with $50 to attend the event of their choice.
Ticket Liquidator’s new slogan began with the recognition that when fans buy an event ticket, it’s not the piece of paper they care about – it’s much more than that. And attending an event often means something different to each individual, especially for the diverse team of sports fanatics, concert lovers and theater junkies who work at Ticket Liquidator. The creative team at Ticket Liquidator has already come up with four initial completions to the slogan that will be going up on the Ticket Liquidator site soon: For the homepage: “It’s more than a ticket. It’s the time of your life.” For the concert page: “It’s more than a ticket. It’s your favorite song, live.” For the sports page: “It’s more than a ticket. It’s high-fiving the mascot.” And for the theater page: “It’s more than a ticket. It’s a standing ovation.”
To enter a submission, tweet the entry on Twitter along with the hashtag “#morethanaticket” or click on the contest tab of Ticket Liquidator’s Facebook page and fill out the form. Contestants can also email Contest(at)ticketliquidator(dot)com directly with their submissions. The slogan has to fit on a banner, so shorter is better. There are no limits on how many entries can be submitted, although entrants can only win the weekly prize once.
The first $50 winner will be announced on October 16, 2012. Each weekly winner will be emailed a unique discount code and have his or her slogan and name featured in a banner on Ticket Liquidator’s website in 2013 in celebration of Ticket Liquidator’s 10-year anniversary. The weekly contest ends on December 31, 2012 and the last weekly winner will be announced Jan 2, 2012.
Ticket Liquidator’s Facebook fans will get a chance to vote on their favorite overall slogan to select the grand prize winner from January 2, 2013 at 12 p.m. until January 8, 2012 at 12 p.m. The grand prize winner will be announced on January 8 and will be emailed a unique discount code and have his or her slogan and name featured in a banner on Ticket Liquidator’s website in 2013.
