A new ticketing system has been developed by Fouts Ventures (FV). The Los Angeles-based web development and marketing firm designed the system to help their clients and staff manage web development projects on FoutsVentures.com. The ticketing system allows users to log in, create new projects, edit or modify current projects, submit revisions, and receive real-time updates on their projects’ status. Clients can also use the system to get technical support.

This additional component to FoutsVentures.com will help increase productivity, delegate work among staff, and facilitate communications between clients and staff. Clients can now log in, ask a question, or make a request any time and get a response from a specialist in FV’s Los Angeles storefront.

Platinum Images’ new website, krazyprinters.com, participated in beta testing of the ticketing system. In their feedback, it was suggested that clients be able to upload photos as their site was being built. FV integrated this into the ticketing system so customers could upload any photos and documents they want added to their site. The capability to preview images and documents was also added.

Cellar Bar & Grill manager Kil Chung provided feedback suggesting that FV add a social media connection. In response, Facebook Connect was used to allow customer to log in to the ticketing system with one click.

The development team at DataOcean.net also participated in beta testing. Their suggestion to separate technical support tickets and content support tickets helped reduce the amount of time clients wait to get a response from FV specialists.
