Tim Krause, CPA, of Denver, Colorado, financial advisor firm Krause PC, CPAs & Business Advisors proudly announces the opening of a group home for six children who are without family. Mr. Krause has served as Treasurer for the Savio House’s Board of Trustees since 1998.

“Tim is an integral part of our business decision-making,” said Don Smith, President of Savio House, “and his contributions were important and integral in the opening of Bridgeway.”

Savio House, a non-profit (501c3) organization serving Colorado's Front Range since 1966, intervenes with families in crisis to keep them together in the long term. The organization helps children and families deal with issues such as child abuse, mental health issues, and drug abuse.

Savio’s mission is to eliminate violence, crime, drug and alcohol abuse, child abuse and neglect, and other destructive behaviors in families through care, support and education. The organization has received awards and recognition from the Colorado Juvenile Council, the City and County of Denver and Lions Club International.

Additional recent achievements for Savio House include facility expansion to 1530 West 13th Avenue which allows the organization to continue to meet the growing need. Major initiatives for 2013 include sponsorship of the National Cheeseburger Festival October 12-19, 2013. Participating restaurants will donate a portion of their profits for each cheeseburger they serve during the week. Events planned throughout the city during that week include a parade and party in downtown Denver.
