NOVAtime Technology, Inc. (http://www.novatime.com), a forward-thinking workforce management solution development company that applies the latest technology advancements to its suite of Time and Attendance/Workforce Management products and services, is pleased to announce that its customer MMR is empowered by NOVAtime's Timekeeping Solution to proactively manage their mobile workforce's labor hours and costs.
MMR is a world leader in instrumentation and electrical construction, maintenance and technical services. MMR was Number 7 in the top 600 Specialty Constructors according to the Engineering News-Record (ENR) publication dated October 15, 2007. MMR is based out of Baton Rouge, LA, and MMR’s teams work in refineries, petrochemical plants, gas plants, and other production facilities throughout the world. Additionally, MMR’s work has extended to offshore production platforms in the burgeoning oil fields of the Gulf of Mexico and into the high seas across the globe. MMR utilizes cutting-edge technology and provides the highest level of quality, service, and satisfaction, all of which are a part of the “MMR Tradition”.
MMR has used NOVAtime’s Enterprise Time and Attendance/Workforce Management solution since June 2009 to automate manual timekeeping processes. Automated Timekeeping, Inc. implemented NOVAtime’s Enterprise Solution to support MMR’ on location timekeeping and payroll processes.
For about a year and half – from 2009 to2010 – MMR worked on one of the world’s largest construction site, Thyssenkrupp Steel plant in Alabama, covering over 600 acres of building space and 3,600 acres of property space with a crew that ramped up to about 900 people
Using NOVAtime’s Enterprise workforce management solution, mobile barcode scanners and handheld barcode scanners, MMR was easily able to manage our labor hours, performance and project profitability. Craig Walls of Automated Timekeeping said, “MMR’s work schedule is Monday to Sunday, yet their profit report is due by 12pm on Monday. Using NOVAtime’s system, they can produce the profit report and meet their management’s requirement in a timely fashion.”
Mark Armond, Project Superintendent at MMR Group of Companies, stated, “I really like the NOVAtime system: labor tracking is easy – It’s all automated. We had over 2 million hours worked in a year and half. That is a fair amount of labor to track and manage, and with just a few clicks of a mouse!” Mr. Armond added, ”Gail and Craig from Automated Timekeeping were very large assets in the success of this project!”
