Recognition came from the 9th Annual 2009 ILTA Member Technology Purchasing Survey. The 2009 Survey focused on feedback from 115 ILTA member law firms with 50 or more attorneys. It covers IT budgeting, technology purchasing patterns, selection criteria and influencers, technology trends & IT challenges, and state-of-the-economy questions.

APS received high recognition for an open question asking, "Has any particular vendor helped you proactively during this tough economic time?" Out of twenty-five vendors mentioned, APS led the way. "We are grateful to have our customers and like to help them out when we can," said APS CEO and President Jim Tharpe, "This year we gave a discount on maintenance and support for all our customers. Many firms wrote or called us in appreciation."

APS was also a top-listed vendor for the question, "What legal vendors have provided exceptional customer support?" Patrick Coleman, APS Professional Services Manager commented, "Our support team is often praised by our customers for their ability to react quickly, understand and solve problems in a timely manner. About 2009 ILTA Member Technology Purchasing Survey
ILTA, in cooperation with, developed and administered the annual ILTA Member Technology Purchasing Survey. A 40 question web-based survey was distributed to roughly 730 firms, ranging from 50 to over 3,000 attorneys, and yielded 115 responses.
