Statewide Abstract Corp. the largest family owned title agency in Westchester, kicked off its 35th year by promoting one of their key executives to Regional Vice President and hiring an industry leader in the area of title insurance.
Connie Alimena, J.D. has been promoted to Regional Vice President and operates from the New York Office of Statewide Abstract located at 1 Rockefeller Plaza. She is known for her relationship building talents which allow her to pair leaders in the real estate industry including investors, lenders, brokers, attorneys, and clients and to solidify well-crafted real estate deals.
After graduating from New York Law School she developed an interest in real estate and began work at a Westchester based mortgage company. Mari Anastos brings her twenty years of experience as a legal assistant in the title industry to her new role of Account Executive at Statewide in their White Plains office. “Unlike many AEs in the business Mari’s first-hand knowledge ensures she understands every aspect of the title process and can get involved at any level to guarantee the transaction moves smoothly and swiftly to closing,” states Meccia.
For the past five years Anastos has conducted title insurance seminars for area real estate firms which have led to quality relationships with realtors throughout the tri-state area. She has also established associations with attorneys, mortgage brokers and bankers and brings a unique understanding of the team process required to close deals in today’s fast-paced real estate environment. Having experience with both simple residential deals and complex commercial transactions provides her with a depth of experience that will benefit Statewide Abstract clients.
Anastos has been a member of the Women's Council of Realtors and is currently a member of the Westchester County Board of Realtors and BNI.
