We are very proud of the Marin Home it is a beautiful home in a serene setting that we believe will be conducive to those seeking to build a strong foundation for their future
San Rafael, CA (PRWEB) March 3, 2011
TLC Residential Inc. the nation’s leading provider in transitional living for those suffering from alcohol and drug dependency addiction is opening its newest home located in Central San Rafael, CA. The home is primarily for present residents of Marin and those coming out of local treatment facilities located in Marin, Sonoma & Napa who want to stay close to the treatment centers where they have recently graduated.
The new home, known as ‘Marin Home’ is a beautiful completely restored Victorian built sometime between 1870 & 1895. It is a co-ed home and is open as of March 1st. ‘Marin Home’ is centrally located to offer the residents the ability to walk to downtown San Rafael, shopping, parks, transportation hubs & local support services such as Outpatient facilities and other recovery related services. Residents who work or go to school in San Francisco will be able to walk to the local transportation hub and take the commuter bus to and from San Francisco. There is parking available for those with vehicles and the freeway is less than a mile from the home.
Frank Montero, CEO of TLC Residential was asked why open a home in Marin, specifically San Rafael with other sober homes located in Marin already? “The reality is there is a need for an established sober home company to open in Marin. While there are a few sober homes in Marin they are the one or two off “typical” sober houses.” “We were specifically asked by multiple treatment facilities in Marin and Sonoma to open a centrally located home in Marin. Montero expanded. “TLC has been in business for over 23 years, we operate 24 sober homes all over the Bay Area. TLC has a set of standards (http://www.tlcresidential.com/tlcstandards.htm) which all homes follow. TLC has an infrastructure that helps maintain the integrity of our homes (http://www.tlcresidential.com/howtlcworks.htm) including House Managers who live at every home, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, emergency plans, maintenance personnel and multiple District Managers who oversee the homes and the House Managers. This creates a safe structured environment where those who are serious about seeking recovery can do so. We are able to work with those who want to move forward and get back into the stream of life.” Montero went on to say,. “ We are very proud of the “Marin Home” it is a beautiful home in a serene setting that we believe will be conducive to those seeking to build a strong foundation for their future.” Our typical resident is professional and educated and younger people pursuing their career or education.
The home fits into the category of “upscale affordable” as most TLC homes are classified. This home, like all TLC homes, include; Internet (wireless throughout the home), plasma televisions, computer for residents, HD cable TV, fully stocked kitchens and more. All the services are included in the monthly fees (except for food). The home has a beautiful backyard for socializing, etc. TLC is planning an open house event to show the home to local treatment center staff. Invitations will be sent out in the next few weeks. If anyone would like to attend the event they can send an email to info(at)tlcresidentia(dot)com to be considered for the invite list.
TLC homes are Arcuria Certified (http://www.arcuria.net) and this home is no exception. All TLC sober homes are recommended to those seeking quality sober living.
