We will work hand in hand with Western Vista to develop strategies to acquire new cardholders, as well as generate revenue producing card promotions.
Dallas (Vocus) October 27, 2009
Western Vista Federal Credit Union of Cheyenne, Wyoming, has partnered with TNB Card Services to develop a stronger credit card program that will make the credit union's card product more attractive to its 10,500 members.
The $110 million credit union has entered into a seven-year agreement with TNB to manage the processing of its credit card program. Using TNB's VIP CardStationTM and VIP Portfolio Pro®, Western Vista will be able to easily update cardholder records as well as identify revenue opportunities and portfolio trends that will enable it to proactively manage and market its card program more efficiently.
"TNB's capabilities can help us selectively grow our card portfolio," said John Kelly, vice president of lending for Western Vista Federal Credit Union. "Its processing system will allow us to strategically market our product within our membership, which is something we aren't able to do today."
Kelly added, "TNB demonstrated it understands the card business and has the necessary tools and cardholder services that will enable us to better serve our members. With TNB, we'll be able to give our cardholders 24/7 support, web-based account access, and better fraud protection, along with a great card product."
"With our technology and portfolio management expertise, we will be able to deliver a strong credit union branded credit card product for Western Vista FCU," said Mark Fenner, senior vice president of TNB Card Services. "We will work hand in hand with Western Vista to develop strategies to acquire new cardholders, as well as generate revenue producing card promotions."
Western Vista FCU, established in 1940, has two branches in Cheyenne and one branch in Casper, Wyoming. The Credit Union has purchased land in Casper for another branch office with construction scheduled to begin in spring 2010.
