The Network Journal (TNJ), an award-winning business magazine offering trade and industry news vital for today’s African-American professionals, corporate executives and small-business owners, announces the call for nominations for its 2013 “25 Influential Black Women in Business Awards.” The 2013 Awards marks the fifteenth anniversary of this stellar event held in New York City.
This TNJ award honors African-American women whose professional achievements have significantly impacted an industry or profession, and who also have made an important contribution to their community. An ideal "TNJ25” candidate is a business owner, or a partner, president, CEO, board chair, or other senior-management executive with significant decision-making authority in the corporate, nonprofit (including academia and medicine), or government sector.
Winners will be featured in the March 2013 issue of The Network Journal magazine and honored at a luncheon held at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel in March 2013. The deadline for nominations is Friday, October 26, 2012.
