DutyBOX was created to help everyone, from CEO’s to College Students save time, be more productive and effectively manage all their incoming and outgoing responsibilities
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) September 11, 2012
Can DutyBOX’s task management app end Email? Well, not exactly…but DutyBOX does intend on getting any kind of “Task” or “To Do List” items out of your inbox. Being more productive and effectively managing your business has never been easier with DutyBOX, a new web, iPhone and tablet application that will be available Fall 2012.
DutyBOX is a “to do” task management application. It was created to save you time and give you 1 place to go, to see ALL of your “tasks” or what DutyBOX calls “Duties”. Whether the duty is your responsibility, you have delegated it to someone else, or you manage multiple people, you will have the ability to manage and view it all from one place, your DutyBOX.
“We operate in a fast pace world. Typical to-do-lists are fine until you delegate or assign someone else to complete or assist with a task. Reassigning work typically requires lots of follow up through phone calls, emails and even meetings. The one thing most of us would like more of is time. DutyBOX was created to help everyone, from CEO’s to College Students save time, be more productive and effectively manage all their incoming and outgoing responsibilities’,” explained Bryan Bulte, Co-Creator of DutyBOX.
DutyBOX users can create as many groups as they would like. Groups allow you to invite individual people so they also have access to effectively view all tasks, responsibilities, goals and information that pertain to that particular group. Once users are in the same group, users can delegate “to do’s” or “tasks” to one another and each watch them as they progress from ‘ACCEPTED’ to ‘PENDING’ to ‘COMPLETE’.
Trey Gibson, Managing Partner of Canopy Construction and Co-Creator of DutyBOX explains it this way, “DutyBOX gives you all the organizational power you need at your fingertips. You have an immediate snap shot of all your responsibilities as well as the responsibilities for people in your customized groups. It has proven to save us time, be more effective and significantly reduce unnecessary meetings. We designed the software so it would be easy to use and fully customizable.”
So will it replace email? No. However, it might keep your important tasks or tasks you have delegated to others from slipping thru the cracks. It also might help keep your desk a little bit cleaner without all the post it notes and scribbles of to do items we all desperately try to keep track of. You also will avoid having to make those multiple phone calls or emails about the same task you delegated.
DutyBOX creators Trey Gibson, Joe Phelan, and Bryan Bulte are proven managers in various fields. The three of them started DutyBOX after discussing how they each needed a better way to track their responsibilities, communicate more effectively, reduce unnecessary meetings and save time. After just a few months they developed DutyBOX.
dutyBOX LLC is a privately held company based out of Dallas, TX. dutyBOX is the first application that allows you to delegate a task and watch it’s progress as it goes from ACCEPTED, to PENDING, to COMPLETE, while allowing you to share files and make comments along the way. We are not a project management application, we are a life management application that you can manage projects with. We are currently seeking key partners that can help take this application worldwide and have set aside equity stake should the correct partner come along.
