Cities are named after people or famous historical facts. However, the city of Portland, Oregon was decided by a flip of the coin. The coin which was flipped was an 1835 Liberty Head Large Cent, known as the Portland Penny. This is rather fitting for a city that is as liberal as they come and welcoming to all. Today in America TV welcomes viewers to watch the award-winning cable television program on CNN Headline News.
Wide open and full of green walking and playing spaces, Portland offers a walking tour of downtown which includes two separate national historical districts dotted with nineteenth-century landmarks. The city has many theaters, zoos and other family friendly activities for all to enjoy.
The host of the original cable television program is known as one of the most respected sports celebrities in the nation – Terry Bradshaw. He was the starring quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers who led the team to four Super Bowl victories and eight AFC championships. His skill on the field earned an induction in to the Hall of Fame and he was twice voted “Most Valuable Player”. Bradshaw retired in 1984 and has been a fixture on sports related shows for over 20 years. He is an analyst on Fox NFL Sunday, a spokesperson for Nutrisystem and an often requested speaker for large companies.
Today in America with Terry Bradshaw covers topics that are relevant in the lives of every day people. Viewers can learn family recreation ideas, environmental travel options and many more compelling subjects. The engaging show films around the country and is edited in Coral Springs, Florida. It is available on various regional and national cable networks. For more information about the show, its host or to view a sample video, please visit todayinamericatv.com.
