The producers of Today in America TV are excited to announce their participation in "Operation Christmas Child", a program from The Samaritan’s Purse, founded by Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham. The holiday inspired project is an international relief program which provides needed items for children around the world in shoeboxes wrapped for the holiday. Executive Producer Paul Douglas Scott supplied 100 shoeboxes and the items to pack in them. Staff spent the afternoon packing the gifts for the world’s neediest children which will then be taken to a local drop off station and then flown around the world to kids in need in time for the holiday. The producers and staff of the educational program support many local and national non-profit organizations throughout the year.
