Corporate America is becoming more socially responsible and is giving back to the community in many different ways. From monetary donations, to joining the many national charitable organization walk-a-thons and the more popular volunteer days off, businesses realize they cannot just generate revenue in an area but must put something back into it. Today in America TV is proud to offer staff the gift of a paid day off for volunteer work, thanks to Executive Producer Doug Scott, who gives his time to South Florida Kids.
As a sign of the times and being fair minded, many small and large businesses are giving staff one paid day off for volunteer work. Employees can take the volunteer days at any organization of their choice. Some of the charitable groups where a staff member may participate and get the paid day off are the American Red Cross, the local Humane Society of America, The Salvation Army, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Habitat for Humanity and Americas Moms for Soldiers to name to name a few.
Today in America TV host, Terry Bradshaw, has always been one to use his celebrity to support a cause he believes in. He has supported the City of Hope, the USO, and Habitat for Humanity to name a few. Terry Bradshaw is a four time Super Bowl champion, NFL Hall of Fame Recipient, and can also be seen on Fox NFL Sunday. Twice named as Super Bowl "MVP", Bradshaw still holds the Super Bowl all-time passing records to this day.
