eHire, a recruiting company based in Atlanta that specializes in information technology and sales professionals recently launched their new technical consulting service, eHire Labs. eHire Labs provides expert consulting services that create simple and elegant solutions for technical challenges by using the right combination of people, process, and technology. Seth Ryan, Co-Founder of eHire and eHire Labs, explains how they do it, “eHire Labs is the technical extension of our core values. By attracting and leveraging the talent of exceptional technologists we are able to take ownership of and solve complex business problems.” One of eHire Labs’ first hires was Co-Founder and former CTO of Atlanta startup LoopFuse, Tom Elrod.

Tom Elrod is leading eHire Labs’ Java / Open Source Practice as their Principal Architect and Managing Director. His expertise lies in enterprise software, systems integration, infrastructure, and Open Source Software. Tom brings 14 years of experience as a Software Architect and Senior Developer at companies such as JBoss, Vocalocity, Silverpop Systems, US Web/CKS, and ADP. Most recently, Tom spent 4 years as Co-Founder and CTO at LoopFuse Inc., a start-up in Atlanta that provides enterprise-grade marketing and sales automation. LoopFuse raised $1.4 million Series A funding and generated $360k in revenue their first year of business.

eHire Labs also recently announced their acquisition of e2e apps and their CEO, Andrew Zuercher. Andrew is now the Principal Architect and Managing Director of their Mobile Practice. On the topic of joining Andrew and the others at eHire Labs, he says, “I have been fortunate to work with many of Atlanta’s top technologists during my career. I’m looking forward to working with even more of them at eHire Labs and sharing our accomplishments with the rest of the technology community.”

eHire Labs will be a trendsetter in providing small teams of expert technologists to deliver large-scale technical solutions. Most companies are looking for effective and cost-efficient ways to acquire the staff needed to improve their technical infrastructure. Rather than hiring permanent or contract employees, they can now bring in small yet elite teams of Atlanta’s top technologists that will see a project through to completion. These teams are well versed in helping clients understand the challenges they face as well as implement the solution and effectively transition the work to internal resources.

eHire Labs is founded on three main practices: Java / Open Source, Mobile Development, and UI / Web Development. Tom Elrod and Andrew Zuercher are just the beginning of the exceptionally talented individuals that will join eHire Labs. eHire Labs is expected to announce more hires and pull the curtain back on some of their current projects next quarter.
