Bivins & Hemenway, P.A. is pleased to announce, managing partner Robert W. (“Bob”) Bivins has been named in “Tampa’s Top Rated Lawyers” 2012 Edition.
Mr. Bivins was listed in three categories including: Business Law, Real Estate, and Trusts & Estates. The list was created by Lexis-Nexis Martindale-Hubbell and includes only attorneys who have achieved the highest ethical standards and professional excellence based on their “AV Preeminent” rating.
Mr. Bivins has held an AV® rating from Martindale- Hubbell for over 15 years. Mr. Bivins is a third- generation Tampa Bay area resident whose practice focuses on real estate, business law, and estate planning. He graduated from the University of South Florida in 1982 with a B.A., and obtained his J.D. degree with honors from the University of Florida College of Law in 1985. Bob served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Florida Law Review during the 1984-85 year.
Mr. Bivins has been admitted to the Florida Bar since 1985 and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for both the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of The Greater Brandon Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc., and serves on the advisory board of the Campo Family YMCA, located in Valrico, Florida. He also serves as Chairman of the North American Business Law Institute of the International Society of Primerus Law Firms, as well as a member of the Primerus Executive Committee.
