Hamburg, Germany (PRWEB) November 02, 2011
On October 1st 1996 Eckart Brödermann founded the law firm Brödermann as a spin-off of a large German law firm. It soon became Brödermann & Jahn growing a reputation in its own right. It has operated from its present offices in Neuer Wall, Hamburg, since 1998.
Prof. Dr. Eckart Brödermann, educated in France, the United States and Germany, established the dynamic and creative law firm, joined in December 1997 by Dr Erhard Jahn (with whom he had already worked since 1990) and progressed to the great firm that is Brödermann & Jahn today.
From the beginning, the firm has concentrated on international projects and transactions. Initially starting in 1996 with a few clients in Germany, Europe and the USA, the firm rapidly expanded so that now at any one time it has projects with contacts in over 25 legal jurisdictions around the globe with mandates from all over the world.
The firm has a creative way of thinking which generates practical solutions for its clients.
The firm has developed a series of close relationships with other firms worldwide during these 15 years, including the United States, Europe, North Africa and the Far East. (This includes its new friends at Primerus).
Brödermann & Jahn has been in the forefront of developing close ties with China, including the co-initiation and promotion of the Chinese European Arbitration Centre "CEAC" (http://www.ceac-arbitration.com).
Prof. Dr. Brödermann said, "It has been the most exciting decade-and-a-half of growth and development. We are looking forward to the next 15 years enormously."
About Brödermann & Jahn
Brödermann & Jahn considers the law as a tool to increase the economic success of the firm's clients and restore balance to their businesses.
With the help of legal strategy development, case management and modern negotiation techniques, Brödermann & Jahn is generally successful in finding solutions which are economically viable and legally sound.
Thereby, the firm economizes time and costs. Even litigation is very often an instrument within the tool-box of general case planning. The attorneys of Brödermann & Jahn all love their profession and the legal work connected with it (most of the firm's attorneys have written at least one legal book). This gives them the enthusiasm and strength the firm needs to make clients’ projects even more successful.
Furthermore, Brödermann & Jahn is not only young in spirit and experienced as a "can-do" law firm in fighting to achieve their clients desired objectives in transactions or dispute settlements. The firm also measures up in terms of sophistication and horsepower that they bring on the road to firms much larger than Brödermann & Jahn. It is an intricate part of the firm's philosophy to grow not for growths sake, but so as to remain fiercely competitive where they need to expand while always striving to maintain their internal fabric of friendship, loyalty, mentoring of junior lawyers, as well as fun on the job.
Brödermann & Jahn is a member of the International Society of Primerus Law Firms.
